About EquiHerbal
EquiHerbal was born when I needed to turn to remedies other than pharmaceuticals to help my horse. As I researched and learned more I began to understand that natural remedies including herbal formulas and massage therapy could and did help my horses live a comfortable, natural, drug-free life. I now strive to provide that same care and knowledge to as many horses and horse owners as I can.
Expertise
I have studied horses since I was little and continued my education into adulthood. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University. I achieved certification as an Equine Sports Massage Therapist in 2001 from Equissage and have utilized and expanded on that knowledge since that time. I have also completed a diploma program to be a Master Herbalist. Currently, I am expanding my knowledge as I work towards an International Diploma Program in Equine Osteopathy. I have also gained extensive practical and hands-on knowledge through over 30 years of competing in rodeo and training horses.
