About EquiHerbal
EquiHerbal was born when I needed to turn to herbs for horses when pharmaceutics were not working. I began my foray into natural health care when I learned equine massage therapy. As I researched and learned more I began to understand that natural remedies including herbal formulas and massage therapy could and did help my horses live a comfortable, natural, drug-free life. I now strive to provide that same care and knowledge to as many horses and horse owners as I can.
Expertise
I have been a student of the horse since I was young. I have completed a Bachelor's of Science degree in Animal Science from New Mexico State University. In 2001 I obtained certification as an equine massage therapist and have continued my studies. More recently I completed a diploma program to become a Master Herbalist. I have utilized this knowledge to develop herbs for horses and specifically herbal formulas tailored to the specific needs of equine athletes. Currently, I am continuing my education in a Diploma program which will culminate in an Equine Osteopathy degree.

I strive to create and provide herbs for horses and herbal formulations that I use for my horses and my own family. I take the time to study herbs, their interactions with one another, and their effects on the horse before ever offering the product to you. I love consulting with horse owners to formulate and provide custom herbal formulas to meet your horse's specific needs. All products are 100% natural with no fillers, chemicals, or preservatives.
I also work with each horse owner to develop a whole horse approach to obtain optimal wellness and performance. This approach often times includes equine massage therapy, osteopathic techniques, and referrals to appropriate professionals including veterinarians, farriers, behaviorists, or other professionals to ensure your horse gets the care s/he deserves.
